Concept

Using non-contact measurement data (point-cloud), the reverse engineering application spScan can quickly and automatically generate NURBS surfaces for use in CAD/CAM/CAE.

Purpose

  1. Prototype analysis and feedback CAD data for design. Create simple face for design consideration concerning intersection (fit). Strength/oscillation/fluid related simulations.
  2. Create matching processing data from obsolete products.
  3. Analyze competitive products (mechanical parts).
